Too Much Freedom

This is not a political website, but I would be lying if I didn't include this sort of thing in a collection of things that scare me.

Recently, George W. Bush gave us another clue to what he really thinks of free speech and the right to express your ideas in public. Read this and tell me it doesn't give you chills:

"There ought to be limits to freedom. We're aware of this site, and this guy is just a garbage man, that's all he is." -- George Jr., discussing a web site that parodies him .

Think about your freedom on the web. Your freedom to go where you want and see what you want. Think about your freedom to create a website with whatever opinion you want to express. Now think about the mentality that can produce a statement like the quote above.

There are a lot of other scary things about this guy, but the scariest is that a minority of Americans managed to elect him President. Rather than turn into a political website, let me point you to one interesting and seemingly well documented site that chronicles George W's past, and then see if you don't get a little scared too.

Visit http://www.realchange.org/bushjr.htm before George and his buddies manage to shut them up and cover it over.
