OK, ok, so it is not a horror movie, per se. But it does have it's tense moments and it does possess an undercurrent of horror about what man is capable of doing to his fellow man.

This is a well written, tautly edited action flick, with a very satisfying "America Wins" message that is particularly reassuring in these post 9/11 days. The hero does encounter horror along the way, in terms of witnessing bloodshed, torture and death, but there is one truly horrifying scene where he is forced to "play dead" among the rotting corpses of a mass massacre.

Pretty gruesome.

Ultimately, the film is a fun, satisfying jolt of reassurance. Well worth viewing or renting.
