Blade 2
What a disappointment! While the original Blade was not really very scary, I thought the story was pretty clever and I liked the non-Anne Rice version of the vampires.
However, this sequel really sucks. They seem to have decided that as long as they sprayed enough blood at the camera and ripped eachother to shreds every 60 seconds or so, no one would notice that the movie has no plot. Or at least nothing worth following.
Oh sure, the special effects were better this time... but even those got overused until you get to the point of "Ho Hum, another vampire dissolving into a pile of glowing ash."
Granted, this will probably be big among the 14 year old males, but they have not been exposed to enough good movie making to know what this could have been and what a disappointment it really is.
Don't even bother renting it.
