Ghost Ship
OK- I can't seem to get it out of my head that I have seen this movie before... perhaps a lame made-for-TV movie in the 80's? Maybe that is why I seemed to know what was coming next as each event unfolded. Or maybe it was just that predictable... I don't know.
Well, despite the predictability, Ghost Ship actually does a pretty decent job of being a horror movie. It was perfect for an evening of mindless entertainment, with all the prerequiste chills and thrills. I was tuned into who the real "bad guy" was almost from the beginning so the ending wasn't that much of a shock, but that was probably due to a heavy diet of such movies... you start to see the patterns.
Nurse Spasm especially like the "circular" nature of the ending, and it did stimulate some interesting theological discussions over coffee later that evening.
It's worth a watching if you don't go in expecting too much. Or wait till the CD comes out.
