Halloween

reviewed by Guest Reviewer W. A. Upchurch

John Carpenter's Halloween set the stage for many sequels. In this movie the "evil" Michael Myers goes on a killing spree in a small Indiana town. This was one of the first true hack and slash killers.

If you have yet to see this classic I suggest you watch it. The movie, although produced on a low budget, will still leave you checking that your doors are locked and you may just need to leave your night light on.

Compared to movies produced today it lacks on the Disturbance Factor but it's still a good movie to watch. Especially if you want to cuddle with your date. :)

(Trivia note from Scuttles: This is one on my favorites too, and I have to point out that the soundtrack has become a staple of Haunted House events the world over. The totally unmistakable Halloween theme music you hear everywhere was orignially written and performed by John Carpenter himself... and he admits he never had musical training! Way to go, John!)
