Lost Souls
This is a well done, taut movie that has several good chills and shocks. The premise is that an innocent man who does not know it yet, is slated to become the antichrist on his 33rd birthday. Several people from the church are trying to find him and stop the transformation, any way they can, and the forces of evil have been trying to keep the "vessel" safe from harm in the meantime.
The film is shot in the slightly washed-out look, similar to the TV series "Brimstone". The special effects are well done and not overdone, so that when they do occur, they have even more impact.
My only complaint is the ending. It is not a Hollywood ending, which would have disappointed me also, but somehow, I left feeling they could have done it differently.
