The Dark Man

Hi my name is Jasmine. About 3 years ago my then fiance and I visited my mom and grandmother's house in Sweet Home OR. For privacy we slept in my grammas''s travel trailer in the drive way with our dog. It was early spring and still cold outside, but we had plenty of blankets and sleeping bags. The bed we slept in was about a full size, so it was pretty small for the 3 of us, but we were warm almost hot. At around 3 or 4 in in the a.m. my fiance woke me to tell me to move over, he said that "He" wanted in the bed (but I never heard him talk at all) and we needed to scoot over. I looked over at "He" and saw a man with a mild face and facial hair (lots of facial hair) that was matted and dreadlocked. He wore a flannel shirt and dirty jeans, he reminded me of a vagrant. Although he didn't scare me (much ) I didn't want him in bed with us. I told him to sleep on the couch of the trailer we were in and that there were blankets on it. He didn't say any thing but nodded and turned and went to the couch. I leaned over and saw him sit and pull the blankets over himself before I fell back asleep. When we woke up he was gone and the blankets were folded, and in the same spot they were in the night before. In the morning when talked about it we were a little scared, but not when it was happening(I thought that was the weirdest thing). We told my mom and gramma but gramma didn't have any ideas. My mom said that we were dreaming, but how can we both dream the same thing? Its not possible. And our dog was scared she hid under the blankets and whimpered the whole time "He" was standing over the bed.

(Jasmine, thank you for the account of your experience. Three things seem like possibilities.. 1. You and your then-fiance were so in tune with each other that you did indeed dream together. This is rare but known to happen to people who are on the same mental and emotional wavelength. 2. There was a homeless man in the trailer with you, but one with a talent to project calm and acceptance. He uses his "talent" to make his way in a harsh world, and then was kind enough to replace the blankets neatly where he found them. 3. The dark man was a spirit who found solace and comfort in your presence. In any case, count yourself as blessed to have experienced something out of the ordinary. Chills... Scuttles)
