Molly F.

Glendale Hospital

I went to Glendale Hospital and I must say for the most part that it was uneventful. The only part that truly disturbed me was a room in the basement of one of the annexes. The room seemed to be a storage room and had a lot (over twenty) beds stacked up. For some reason, I refused to go into this room, most of the rooms I didn't mind. This one however I got a really bad feeling from and told my friends to keep going. Right after be passed the room we hear a strange noise. The noise for the most part was indescribable. It was somewhere between a growl and a moan. Right after we passed we heard a dog barking, it was very faint. This wouldn't have been strange except it seemed to be coming in the direction of the storage room and no where else. Now this can be easily dismissed as a coincidence except once we left this building we never heard a dog bark again.

We plan on going back when it gets warmer and taking pictures. I highly recommend this spooky place to visit. Oh, and by the way I researched what trespassing is in Maryland and it is a Class 3 Misdemeanor, just a small fine if prosecuted. Apparently they won't do that unless they have warned you to previously leave. I'm no lawyer so consult yours if you decide to go. : )

Happy Hunting! (Here's an interesting link about the place: Glendale Hospital. Note that this link takes you off the ScaryPlace site.)

(As Molly noted... trespassing is illegal. ScaryPlace does not condone trespassing, but if you go, be careful... if you get injured and die there, you may become one of the resident ghosts. Chills...)
