Another version of the Rose Hall Legend

The following is an alternate account of the Legend of Annie's demise...

Hi Scuttles, its Stephanie. remember me? I just was checking out your Rose Hall thing.... I've never heard that version of the story.

I heard that Annie died while doing a ritual meant to raise the devil. She wanted to have sex with him supposedly.

Meanwhile the slaves were angry and started riots. A group of men entered the mansion, but were dumbfounded by the screams of Annie because she was alone in her room. The door was locked from the inside. One of the slaves looked through the keyhole of her bedroom door and was stricken blind. He said he saw Baron Samidi (the voodoo equivilent of the devil). The screams soon after stopped.

The slaves broke the door down and found Annie dead- her blood covered the walls (it was evidently part of the ritual because the blood formed symbols). It is also said that there were three bloody footprints next to her bed (where her dead body was found). [Her first husband had made three bloody footprints before he died at her hands, as rumor has it.]

A priest was called in to investigate but came up without any answers. The door was locked from the inside but Annie had been strangled - she couldn't have done it herself. The priest left and said perhaps it was Baron Samadi....
